About the artist

As a little girl growing up in North Dakota, I have always had a passion for creating.  As a child, I designed my own Barbie and Dawn doll clothes for myself and two sisters.  As I grew older, I started exploring my creativity by drawing and painting unique art.  My passion for unique stones started early on in my childhood. On family vacations I collected rocks from across the country, often giving up my foot space in the family car.

Once older, I began traveling abroad and across the United States. I started collecting gemstones and beads along my path. I was infatuated with the beauty of these stones. In the late 90's, I took a lampwork glass bead class in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I began creating my own beads to add to my collection.

About twenty-five years ago I created my first piece of artisan jewelry. This is still a piece I enjoy wearing today. The intricate process of configuring each bead's juxtaposition and how that changes the look and feel of each unique piece of art, still intrigues me to this day.

In my spare time I enjoy photography, crocheting, quilting, traveling, cooking and spending time with family.
